With over two decades of diverse and impactful experience, I have built a career committed to driving sustainability, environmental management, and strategic leadership. As the Director of Sustainability Services at Deloitte Switzerland since August 2021, I spearheaded the growth of our multimillion business, focusing on strategic guidance and support across a broad spectrum of sustainability domains. My role involves advising clients on tailored sustainability strategies, from climate resilience to emission reduction pathways and net-zero initiatives. I specialize in assisting organizations with sustainable finance, aligning financial strategies with sustainability principles, and enhancing ESG ratings through effective management of environmental, social, and governance factors. My work also involves guiding clients through the complexities of disclosure, ensuring transparency and compliance with evolving reporting standards, and initiating decarbonization efforts within operations and supply chains.Previously, as the Global Head of Environmental Management at UBS from November 2013 to June 2021, I led a diverse team spanning multiple locations, driving the implementation of UBS' sustainability program across 850 locations in 50 countries. During my tenure, I developed and implemented the RE100 and Net Zero emission strategies, which were endorsed by the UBS Board of Directors. Additionally, I played a key role in enhancing the global environmental management system, ensuring ISO 14001 certifications, and overseeing external reporting on environmental and human rights topics. My efforts were pivotal in establishing UBS as a leader in sustainability and I represented the organization in various external working groups.Prior to that, I held roles at UBS focusing on environmental management, financial controlling, communications, and quality management. These experiences provided me with a comprehensive understanding of sustainable business practices, financial analysis, and organizational development.Throughout my career, I have been driven by a passion for sustainability, leading teams to achieve ambitious goals, and empowering organizations to embrace sustainability as a driver for growth and long-term value creation.
