Following a promotion to Manager at 4C Associates; I took on the roles of Indirects Procurement Manager at United Biscuits and Indirects Procurement Manager at KP Snacks.I headed up a team of 12 that included Senior Consultants / SMEs, Consultants and Analysts and was responsible for the overall delivery of the Indirects category for each business. The sub-categories for which I was responsible included: FM, MRO, Logistics, Travel, Fleet, Sales, Marketing, HR and Professional Services.

Devised / managed / delivered MRO strategic sourcing plans for Blue Chip clients including United Biscuits and KP Snacks.

While delivering MRO strategic sourcing plans for 4C clients; I took on the additional responsibility of the overall category lead for MRO.While in this roll, I provided support and guidance for colleagues managing concurrent MRO projects as well as supporting the business development team on new client engagements. I also generated MRO based collateral for use across the wider 4C business and drove knowledge share activities for this area.

Promoted within group to manage North American operations and relocated to Chicago to take up the role of Operations Manager.Reporting into the CEO; I was responsible for multiple departments including Sourcing, Purchasing, Warehouse and Logistics teams and therefore the total process of managing the MRO parts supply into MillerCoors facilities situated across its North American footprintWhile managing the overall activity at the Chicago facility, I developed a procurement strategy to manage the intake of strategic, tactical and general suppliers numbing in excess of 900 to support the first 4 of 8 Client facilities

Entec provides full supply chain management of Industrial MRO products into key blue chip clients within the FMCG sector.As Procurement Manager, I drove procurement activity for all MRO items to clients across a UK, European and African footprint. These clients included Nestle, The Carlsberg Group, The Diageo Group, PZ Cussons, In-Bev. I project managed the creation of a new, standalone procurement department which involved the recruitment of the procurement team, the creation of new departmental processes and the subsequent training. The resultant team that I managed consisted of a Strategic Buyer, Procurement Team Leader and 4 Category Buyers.Supported new contract implementation activity which, in 2009 alone, introduced 12 new facilities across 7 European countries; 200,000 new parts; 300 new suppliers from 12 European countries.Negotiated 4 Pan-European and 5 Global Framework Agreements with key industry manufacturers and a further 50+ Service Levels Agreements at local levels with suppliers across a Western European footprint.

Pattonair provides full supply chain management of aerospace grade products into Goodrich Actuation Systems, one of the world’s leading aerospace manufacturers.Reporting into the Procurement Operations Manager, I headed a team of 4 Buyers.Whilst overseeing the day-to-day activities of the purchasing team, I conducted numerous strategic procurement activities such as supplier rationalisation, supplier development and cost down schemes.I controlled / managed the introduction of new product into Pattonair which took the number of Goodrich parts under Pattonair management grow from 4000 to 6000 parts in just 18 months. In 2007, I spent 7 months on a secondment to the Paris facility to support and ultimately drive the purchasing function whilst a complete restructure of the team was undertaken.
