The most recent was working for the Central Digital and Data Office. I led on engagement with key stakeholders cross-Whitehall and the public sector within the Government’s data marketplace programme to improve data sharing by the government. The role included the organisation and management of stakeholder workshops and being the policy lead on their cross government public sector data access programme.The first role was for the National Fraud Initiative within the Public Sector Fraud Authority. My role was in building a new Legislative Reform Order to amend primary legislation and allow the NFI to undertake data matching with local government to counter fraud in adult social care. This is a new process for the Cabinet Office and my role was to develop the policy, build the consultation with local government and devolved administrations in Wales and Scotland and deliver the legislative amendment. The new legislation will amend existing primary legislation.
