This involved handling learning and development in areas like Highways and Adults and Children's Social Care (business overviews and technical training), technical training in mapping, CRM and softphones (Lagan versions 6 and then to 8.5, Azzuri softphone and Avaya CMS) and technical systems like oracle products, Google mapping and MS Office. This included customer journey mapping and user interface design of various new systems, web pages and surveys. I created lots of soft skill courses including a train the trainer course and a team building course which I delivered successfully to teams in the contact centre and in other council departments. I also used eLearning (Adobe Captivate and Articulate) and film to ensure that the training I provided was more accessible and economical. I ran all induction courses for new starters and established a process to transition them into their teams. This involved a comprehensive handover which ensured they moved into their teams better equipped to deal with the call sets they will receive.When I moved on to Matchtech I am proud to have left the centre with a comprehensive set of training materials and systems and a robust approach to staff development. -
