As our name implies, we put clear, concise communication at the heart of everything we do.I knew I wanted to set up my own design consultancy back in the '80s but realised the benefits of working for others first. Having tried large and small businesses on internship schemes, small was the best fit for me with the longer-term goal of setting up my own consultancy by 30. Missed by a year and set up tothepoint in 1991. Having worked in small companies on large accounts, including BP, Mercedes Benz, Schroders and Sony, I learnt my trade at the deep end. A couple of recessions, three kids and some insolvent clients along the way helped me learn when to take risks and when to take bigger risks. Over 25 years on and our decision to avoid leveraging, focus on 'bringing brands to life', not restricting our business to a sector, and not being dominated by a few accounts, has secured us as established branding and design specialists. We have an enviable client list that now crosses many sectors including finance, healthcare, placemaking, property, science and technology with a more recent focus on businesses that are, or are looking to be, a force for good. My passion is still to grow existing client relationships but also to take my core strengths and experience to new markets, helping clients to express their vision through print, digital and their built environments.
