I serve as the company's point person for securing alternative funding, identifying grant opportunities through calls for proposals from EU funds, monitoring applications, preparing proposal documents, managing awarded projects, and reporting on their progress. I also work on special projects aimed at acquiring new customers, to whom we can offer the development of a new product according to their wishes. I participate in the key strategic decisions in the company.

The Company has more than 120 years of reputation as a specialist in security products. As a Chairman of the Supervisory Board I am executing my monitoring role that leeds to better corporate governance.

Responsible for promotion and selling of smart products (parcel delivery lockers, smart safes, smart wardrobe cabinets) for parent company.

Responsible for corporate and retail clients and key customers in 38 subbranches and in 6 business centres with 350 employees. I assembled a team of 6 branch directors to accomplish our goal. The goal was achieved, each year the number of customers grew and we topped the financial results. We launched several new products, promoted a new mobile bank, and established a new CRM.

I was bringing a high level of business results and a record of achievements developed over a rich 15-year career in the commercial banking sector. I was in charge of a 1 billion euro loan portfolio. Daily meetings and interviews with corporate and personal customers, discussing their financial requirements, providing appropriate financial advice, advising corporate clients about loans, mergers, capital markets etc., promoting the bank's services, planning and problem solving, writing reports for CEO and Supervisory Board, managing projects, training and supervising junior banking staff. My job was to prepare a retail strategy for the bank and execute it. Despite the fact that the Slovenian banking sector was packed with foreign banks, we managed to grow.

It is specific type of insurance company engaged exclusively in providing supplementary pension insurance. It offers qualitative products and a full range of services in implementing supplementary pension insurance and asset management. The pension company Moja naložba collects premiums for voluntary supplementary pension insurance and manages personal accounts and assets, pays out annuities, and manages closed and open mutual pension funds. I was representing the majority owner in the company and providing a monitoring role.

PBS It is typical Post Bank in Slovenia that operates via the largest and the most extensive network of Pošta Slovenije outlets. All postal outlets in Slovenia, i.e. their counters providing cash transaction services, are also the Poštna banka Slovenije’s counters. The postal outlets have more favourable (longer) opening hours, including on Saturdays.
In cooperation with Pošta Slovenije, the bank has also set up its own independent units. It also has its representative offices primarily offering services to corporate clients. My role was to represent owner in the Board and to connect commercial activities of Nova KBM and PBS.

As one of the main Slovenian fund management companies, KBM Infond, Ltd. managing a wide range of funds. KBM Infond Ltd. is a stable fund management company and possesses all the professional standards of practice, conditions, infrastructure and managerial skills necessary for a successful asset management. As a supervisory board member I was promoting the interests of the owner through the governance of the Company and supervising the CEO. We made some important decisions that allowed the board to take over some rival companies.

The Company is an important tourist service provider in Slovenia. A rich and versatile tourist offer enables to satisfy even the most demanding wishes and needs. The hotels (Habakuk, Piramida, Bellevue, Orel, and Uni hotel), Travel Shops at state border crossings and catering service “Pri treh ribnikih” Restaurant provide hotel offer, congress activities, medical activities, wellness, catering service and shopping opportunities.Since I was 7 years active in the Company as Hotel Manager and CMO, my experiences tooke a big role in supervising the executive directors.

Since the Company went through a transformation from a local company to a high-profile global touristic entity, it was essential to attract new customers. We had to promote Maribor as a new touristic destination. My role as CMO was to execute the Marketing Plan. I facilitated an active relationship with hotels/restaurants and attractions in our hotels. My work was to market us to stimulate economic development and the promotion of tourism. I met monthly with a tourism advisory committee and reported directly to the CEO.

My work was to develop strategies, programs, and policies to promote tourism; to develop and implement a tourism marketing plan; to maintain the tourism budget; to oversee creative message development; to organize various media information and make affordable and effective media buys to promote tourism; to oversee the design/printing of marketing publications; and to plan new research-based advertising strategies for current and subsequent years. I developed relationships with national, international, and regional tourism.

Great experience to work with children in summer camp in Massachusetts USA. I was responsible for car fleet (6 vans) and maintenance in the camp. My duties were driving kids to airport in Boston, taking care of cars, helping kids in their cabins with repairs, cleaning the camp, etc.
