About Simon Iaffa Nylén

I am a sustainability leader with a master's degree in Sustainable Urban Planning and Design from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Lund University. My passion is to develop a socially just world within the planetary boundaries, where people and planet go hand in hand with profits.Holding dual roles as the Head of Sustainability at Fastighets AB Regio and as Sustainability Manager at Brunswick Real Estate, my responsibilities span across developing sustainability strategies, assessing the companies' impact on people and planet, managing risks and opportunities, and tracking sustainability targets using various metrics.I have successfully implemented climate targets aligned with SBTi, digitalized GHG accounting, and integrated climate risk assessments according to the EU Taxonomy in our operations. I have also contributed to the growth and development of Young Sustainability Professionals, the largest network for young professionals working with sustainability in Sweden, as the Chairman of the Board. Sustainability is my philosophy - real estate my tool.
