I am currently in the role of Primary Principal at ICS London, a small international school in heart of central London. With over fifty different nationalities across our student body, our community is "international" in every sense of the word.Our small class sizes enables truly individualised education for each child in the Primary School, and enables each child to achieve their best academically, linguistically, socially, and physically. Overall responsibility for running and performance of the Prep School.Working as part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) at St. George's, a Spear’s Top 100 Private School in the World, to produce a clear strategic vision for the Prep School, and communicate and market this effectively within the school community.The Prep Section of St George’s is a day school, with a small minority of Grade 6 pupils being weekly boarders. I oversee an Academic Director / PYP Co-ordinator, six Year Leaders, and sixty members of teaching and administrative staff in total, responsible for the education of 350 pupils across Grades 1 to 6 (three form entry).Introduced rewards and consequences system across the Prep School, improving link between existing house system and enabling all pupils to be involved in contributing to their house community, and giving structure to all pupils on what they can earn rewards for, and the consequences of their actions.Introduced new reading schemes and online platforms that supported the development of reading and comprehension in both English and Spanish, as well as Maths skills in both languages. Reading ages improving across the Prep School, with many pupils progressing by over two years in reading age over the first six months of the new scheme being introduced.Involved in outdoor education trips for all pupils across the Prep School, including sports tours to Uruguay, and multi-day trips to different provinces in Argentina.Overseeing development of policies and procedures to ensure Prep is compliant with national requirements and represents the best international practice.Developing vision for staff continuous professional development (CPD).Monitoring staff development and setting leadership targets for staff improvement.Plan for and lead the Prep's annual staff recruitment.Preparation and submission of annual budget for Prep.To ensure Safeguarding is prioritized at all times across Prep and wider school community.

As the Head of Primary at WASCZ, a Spear’s Top 100 Private School in the World, responsible for a teaching staff of ninety and growing a school of from 175 in January 2017 to 440 in June 2022. As a full British boarding school, I am responsible for the academic and pastoral development of all pupils in the primary school.

Promoted to Deputy Head of the Primary School, where my responsibilities now entail all pastoral elements of life at the school. My day to day role included behaviour management, heading staff meetings and school assemblies, organising all extra-curricular activities across the primary school (including staffing and venues), report checking, as well as continuing to develop the school's under-11 rugby team ahead of their first ever fixtures.
