I performed an analysis and delivered reports, process maps and user stories to describe current business problems and systems requirements. These materials were then used in several key process improvement initiatives. • Gathered requirements from the corporate programs management team for a new cost management system. Evaluated potential solutions (make or buy) and then acted as product owner during the development of the new cost management web application to meet these requirements. This new system eliminated much manual data entry for users and provided traceability of cost quotations for the department.• Delivered a Business Process Management web application. This project involved a full development process using Agile Scrum methodology; from requirements gathering and backlog management, through development of the application using 3rd party business process management software (BonitaSoft) customized with html, css and JavaScript, to final delivery and on-going maintenance. Delivered training and provided second level support to the business for this application. • Conducted training sessions on the Qlikview data visualization tool in order to evangelize use of the department’s central dashboard. These trainings contributed to a 60% increase in adoption of the dashboard.

• QA manager for Media and Entertainment products | Responsible for managing the Media and Entertainment Quality Management team. This team was responsible for the Quality Assurance of Autodesk’s localized Media and Entertainment products. The team consisted of 3 Autodesk QA engineers located in San Francisco. In addition to managerial responsibilities, I was also QA lead of the first localized versions of Autodesk web-based applications – AutoCAD WS and Homestyler. • Autodesk Runtime Translation Tool | Conceived and drove development of a desktop application which machine-translated the user interface of desktop and web applications. This tool was then delivered to QA teams to help them test software in foreign languages and to enable them to detect truncated text.

• AutoCAD QA lead | Led a team of internal and outsourced engineers in the testing and release of the localized versions of Autodesk flagship products AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT. In 2009 this team successfully released over 100 localized versions of Autodesk products.• AutoCAD for Mac QA lead | Responsible for the quality of the first localized release of AutoCAD for Mac. My work on this project earned me a CEO award, with a personal letter of congratulations from Autodesk CEO Carl Bass. • Vendor training program lead | Led a team to document Autodesk’s localization QA processes, tools and automations and train our worldwide network of vendor partners to support an increase in the outsourcing of QA activities. • Globalization QA training lead | Took leadership of a group of 7 cross divisional and cross geo QA engineers to create a Globalization QA strategy and test plan that was delivered to development QA teams across the world. This initiative successfully transferred Localization Services expertise in globalization testing to the development teams.• Build Analysis standardization | Lead an initiative to standardize Build Analysis testing across all products. The resulting process and automation eliminated repetitive work for testers and in its first year reduced testing times for the AutoCAD release by 40%.• Zero cost Service pack testing strategy | Lead a team which developed and rolled out a strategy for global service pack testing across all products. The new strategy reduced outsourced testing costs by more than 75% with no negative impact on release quality. • Automation standardization | Lead an initiative to standardize the AutoCAD Architecture and AutoCAD Building Systems Silk Test automations with the AutoCAD test automation framework. As a result first loop testing times for UI automations of AutoCAD Architecture were reduced by over 40%.
