MSC works at the cutting edge of fisheries sustainability and seeks to facilitate not just valuable sustainable fisheries and conservation gains, but also societal change by working with business and industry. This role is responsible for engaging with NGOs, primarily environmental, to support a global movement towards sustainable fisheries. The role has four main aims: to ensure technical queries relating to fisheries certification are responded to; to engage and build relationships with key NGOs in the sustainable fisheries and markets development fields; to look for opportunities for partnerships and tangible joint projects to support the conservation aims of MSC and partner organisations; to build a strategic approach to engagement that achieves a global movement for change.A major element of the role is to overlap the aims and priorities of organisations with the MSC's aims and theory of change. msc.org Show less
