Ultimately, my career has always revolved around people. Being a Relationship Manager is not quite what you would expect, as no two people, or organisations are the same. Each have different demands and needs, different aspirations, and different means by which to achieve them. I chose to join Handelsbanken as a Private Banking Manager in 2024, as the bank's decentralised model empowers colleagues through giving autonomy to make decisions locally - with no sales targets or short term profit considerations. This means doing the right thing, at the right time, for the right reason.All views are my own.
