Following a short period of freelance work at Sky I was offered a full-time role. Here I work closely with the Sports and Entertainment department creating large compositions for various campaigns and series. Working from scamps and images to visualise concepts mixed up with collaborating with photographers on set to ensure continuity between photographer.

Working closely with the Creative Director and Editor for this ongoing freelance position. Finding and comping together football players and elements for 96 sheet posters within the start of the season campaign. Extensive creative work extending the images from left to right ensuring realistic environments through lighting, depth of field, lens bokeh.

I attracted a freelance position here until I was offered a short term contract. At this small ATL studio daily responsibilities were attending morning meetings to discuss the daily workload. Coversing with clients and Photographers and upload images from disk using either Phocus, Capture one or lightroom. Comping together elements ensuring clear concise.

Predominantly working with fashion and product photography. Responsible for the high end retouching and image creation.

Colour correcting, grading, cutting out, scanning all photographic formats and provide fully furnished CMYK files for all print.

Whilst working at the Guardian with almost seven weeks off a year via annual holiday and continental shifts, driven by my passion for retouching I put myself forward to work voluntarily. Here working for a provincial newspaper with the second largest distribution of any local newspaper in the UK. Appointed as sole Creative Retoucher and played a major role in the publication achieving a prestigious colour award from IFRA, Manage a team of 6 scanner-image operators, liaison with the design team to create cover’s and images for campaigns.
