Master thesis on artificial photosynthesis- Charge transport through molecular wires embedded in a ultra thin SiO2 membrane for artificial photosynthesis- Optimization of plasma pulse time of the atomic layer deposition procedure which increases the ratio of wires which remain intact on the surface from 20% to 90%- Demonstration that ultra thin insulating layers of SiO2 (2 nm) are pinhole-free for at least 2 hours in aqueos solution- Breakthrough short-circuit photocurrent measurements show that molecular wires are able to keep up with charge transport at maximum solar intensity

- Analysis of the electrochemical corrosion on ceramic substrates for power electronics with regard to type of metallization and electrolyte composition- Documentation of the dendritic corrosion by video records and measurement of the leakage current- Successful corrosion prevention by protecting the substrate with an adhesive polymer mixture
