I am a nerd, inventor, leading figure, and executive. I spend my day time as a succesful business man, but at night, when the city is asleep, I turn into a dark and mysterious creature, that enjoys the enchanted arts of research and development.In 2006, I invented technology that enables unbreakable fully-encrypted Internet and cloud connectivity in offices and moving vehicles - Viprinet. For the last 10 years, Viprinet has been perfecting and innovating on top of this invention, making the most robust SD-WAN technology anywhere. They are the only SD-WAN provider that’s mastered cellular and combined wired-cellular connectivity, making SDWAN suitable for mission critical communications. Starting 2017, I have decided to gradually pass over the company to an experienced management team. This is because I actually prefer to manage technology instead of huge amount of humans. With Kissel Ventures GmbH I am investing in a start-ups. With Nerdherrschaft GmbH I am the head of a team of the best nerd developers in the world, with many being on the autistic spectrum like myself.

Had a hard time getting proper funding, which made us grow slower than we could have. Ended up with a shareholder dispute over strategy that caused a lot of distraction 2010-2011. In 2012 together with friends, fellow shareholders, suppliers and employees I managed to fully buy back Viprinet using an asset deal. Since then the company is called Viprinet Europe GmbH. In 2018 I passed over operations to Viprinet's management team to be able to focus on R&D, investments and innovations again.

Chairman Of The BoardViprinet Americas Inc. Jan 2015 - Feb 2018In late 2013, I've founded Viprinet Americas Inc., a Delaware Corporation, with a virtual office in San Francisco. Due to being busy with our European expansion, I didn't have time yet for starting actual business in the US until late 2014, but made sure that by then everything was in place so we could start without delays - legal stuff, product certifications, etc. In January 2015 it was about time: A local team of sales & support was formed, 750k USD startup capital was provided, and we got ourselves a beautiful office in Sunnyvale in the heart of the Silicon Valley. Since then we've signed up a number of partners, and closed first reference projects. But must importantly we've learned some important lessons, and now know that we'll need to approach the US market differently than what we've done in Europe.Next steps will be: Extend business network in the valley, find a local Investor, then disrupt the SD WAN sector that is about to become a big thing in the US.
