I built and led the Solution Architecture Team, reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director. We formed connectivity and communications solutions, and provided Technical Account Management in key accounts. Additional to managing the team, I focussed on New Business and Lead Development.

I built proposals, cost models and contracts winning major new customers and in key accounts. I worked closely with CIOs, Directors and executives to build strategy and business cases for transformation programmes. Examples include the Grafton Group, Samworth Brothers and Aggregate Industries.We provided a range of managed and unmanaged solutions, on-premise, SaaS, PaaS and IaaS, desktop, server and network.

I bid for contracts to provide managed IT services to local authorities, schools, colleges and academy trusts. This was both independently and contracting to major construction companies such as Costain, Balfour Beatty and Skanska. - Led the customer requirement and solution workshops - Built proposals for RFI-RFP and PQQ-ITT - Agreed delivery and operation commitments and costs - IT Consultant to the construction companies through the RIBA-aligned D&B - Built cost models and contract schedules - Established executive support and approvalI provided consultative and escalation support through the delivery of the construction and IT services. This ensured the integration between the IT and physical environment was as intended, and included managing the budget and Acceptance into Service.I worked with in-life customers to develop strategy and led the creation of service products for our construction partners and prospective customers.

I led a UK team of 16, and built a new offshore team in India of five. We were responsible for the hosting and build of the virtual software development environments through the integration and release process. We hosted 1200 VMs on 40 physical servers and the on-demand orchestration of new and cloned environments.

Fareham, Hampshire

I built a new Product Development Team which provided services to most Hampshire schools. We produced guidance for schools and Educational Consultants, and helped with advice on strategy and approach to ICT for education. We developed the county Learning Platform and packaged a range of software that we selected and recommended to our schools..We also provided technical guidance to the rest of the business unit and were responsible for the IT infrastructure.

I led a team of Systems Engineers who managed IT across our six UK sites and 30 European sites. This included the Microsoft server, Active Directory and desktop environments, as well as the LANs and WAN.
