A broadening of my role in LMS to a group level role in nGage Talent. I'm responsible for software applications and software delivery in nGage Talent, and will be working with the businesses within the group to help them make the most of technology.

At LMS, I balance hands-on technical architecture and in detail code reviews and discussions, with board level client relations and industry leading technical strategy. LMS clients win NHS contracts on the back of the strong technical offering. LMS supplies the biggest of NHS recruitment businesses, the government owned, NHS Professionals. The LMS platform handles over £100m of payments annually.LMS was bought by nGage Talent in 2021.

Providing consultancy for software development, architecture and cloud computing.

My background in software architecture has driven standardisation and simplification of some 15+ systems at Outsourcery. I centralised customer and billing data, removed almost £300k of cost from 3rd party licencing and standardised on a JQuery/WCF/REST based SOA pattern.I remained hands-on helping build a strong relationship with the team. The previous outsource/3rd party policy changed to an in-house first strategy as a direct result of confidence in our ability to deliver.

My role at Mindstorm was as a hands-on development manager and software architect. I led Mindstorm’s software strategy based on a strong understanding of business needs and demand in the market.I delivered over 20 projects for clients such as Diageo, Genting and Holland Casino. My ability to grasp a client’s requirements and turn them into fresh, usable concepts was critical to delivering unique, innovative software. I managed every project through the full project life cycle using agile methods. With a flexible attitude, I managed the client relationship, ensured they got a solution matching their needs and had a say at every step of the process.

With a broad range of expertise in development and infrastructure and can-do attitude I was chosen to build credEcard’s e-money platform. Working a rota of one month in India and one in the UK, I recruited a team in Ahmedabad. Within 6 months I had designed the database and object model and built a full double entry accounting system with currency conversion, interest calculation and nominal accounting.I selected and worked with PayPoint, Swift and MasterCard, driving relationships and managing integration. I selected a hosting provider, designed the infrastructure and managed the mission critical transaction processing systems. I performed PCI DSS gap analysis, implemented new card data encryption and guided the business through external audit and PCI DSS compliance.
