At Telegraph Spark we produced award-winning editorial content for our commercial partners in print, online and on video. My series for John Lewis won Commercial Campaign Of The Year at the 2020 Campaign Awards

I wrote about motoring, film and TV and did celebrity interviews for The Mail On Sunday and Shortlist. I wrote funny pieces for Buzzfeed which were shared over 700,000 times. I edited a book for the Octopus Publishing Group and, as a copywriter for August Media, wrote for Flight Centre UK, Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward and the United Grand Lodge Of England.

As features editor for the Mail On Sunday’s Live magazine (later renamed Event) I interviewed over 50 celebrities from Ricky Gervais to Boris Johnson, Seinfeld to the Stig. I ghost wrote James Martin's weekly column and edited Chris Evans'. As well as writing features on everything from beer to boatbuilding, film to fashion, the met office to the military and more, I edited and wrote Live magazine's front section, In Demand - a weekly roundup of new film, music, gadgets, style, travel, food and drink.

At the same time I was the Mail on Sunday's motoring editor, producing weekly content as well as two special all-motoring issues each year. In 2012 I set up the paper's presence at the CarFest summer event.

I wrote, commissioned and edited features and sections, managed a team of 30 and had sole responsibility for all promotions such as DVDs, supplements and calendars.I was acting editor for a while in 2005 until Greg Gutfeld came from Maxim US. Greg made me executive editor and put me in charge of brand extensions. We developed interactive mobile content and a weekly email magazine called Monkey.

I brought the hugely successful men's magazine's budget under control for the first time in its history. I oversaw the hiring, training and remuneration of a staff of thirty and controlled a monthly budget of £70,000. I introduced a new editorial commissioning system and edited six special supplements per year (books, calendars and DVDs). I also edited the comedy section of the magazine, called Zoo.
