Established in August 2012, we are a tourism consulting business concentrating on: Diagnosis and Planning, Product Reinvigoration and Development, and Feasibility Studies / Business Cases. In Australia, we are currently working on cultural tourism plan for Wollongong, tourism development plan for Townsville, a tourism monitoring and adaptive management system for Shoalhaven, New South Wales, and multiple feasibility studies, including a cultural centre in the Kimberley, a luxury lodge on the Great Ocean Road, redevelopment of Mount Baw Baw Resort and redevelopment of Walhalla Historic Township.

Total Tourism Solutions was established as a cooperative of international tourism consultants wanting to work closely together to further the development of sustainable tourism practices across the World. The cooperative integrated specialists in destination and product development, protected area management, monitoring and adaptive management. In early 2015, the experiment finished and the team agreed to be integrated into the faster growing consulting business, Simon McArthur and Associates Pty Ltd.

Establish a Newcastle brand and resource material to assist business use the brand to attract investment and skilled employees. Facilitate the development of new tourism accommodation, a permanent cruise terminal, a regional convention centre and a night walk featuring digital projections and moving sculpture. Rebuild Newcastle's Calendar of Events to reinvigorate the product and stimulate visitation in low occupancy periods. Transition tourism marketing from traditional campaigns to public relations and drive social media that leverages Newcastle's recent Lonely Planet acolade as a top 10 city of the World.

Address strategic issues and stimulate opportunities for tourism and hotel properties managed by Mawland, such as Q Station. This included procuring external funds to bolster environmental performance in water and energy conservation, and lease nehotiations with the State government to reduce constraints and improve the business operating environment.

Manage the pre-opening and first year of hotel, food and beverage and tourism operations at Q Station. Recruit and integrate management team. Establish financial reporting system and stabilise operating cost platform. Build brand awareness and distribution channels. Refine product offering based on customer feedback. Manage stakeholder relationships and report to Board.

Wrote the successful tender proposal, coordinated extensive environmental assessments, lease redrafting, financing and due diligence that resulted in lease activation in October 2006.Adapted the historic property to create a 74 room retreat, conference and function facility, wharf-side restaurant, immersion theatre experience, paranormal tours and educational programs.
