Leading comms activity for PHE's Young People's Takeover Challenge - drafting of blog posts, supporting additional content and planning and implementing the 1st major use of PHE's national Instagram account to capture a photo diary of the young people's day.Providing evidence-based advice and support to the PHE Wellbeing and Mental Health team, as well as other colleagues including the Diet and Obesity Team and Children, Young People and Families Team in particular.This includes developing, implementing, evaluating and disseminating briefings and research initiatives, achieved through a combination of literature searches, field visits, developing project proposals and implementation guidance, analysis, report writing and presentations.Strengthen local capacity in wellbeing and mental health by supporting the development of training and capacity building across the public health system, primarily through the PHE Local Centres.Supporting PHE's infrastructure (governance groups, stakeholder engagement, academic partnerships, networks, strategy, planning and guidance) to enable partners to deliver coherent evidence-based information relating to wellbeing and mental health, and translate cost-effective interventions into widespread practice.Support the translation of learning from these projects, partnerships and research into policy, guidelines and practice as appropriate.

I become involved in the early stages of what went on to become the groundbreaking State Of Mind programme, using my strategic thinking skills and branding / campaign experience to develop it as a concept, a viable brand and it’s practical roll-out.This is the first ever themed round in UK Rugby League history and has been hailed as a leading example of raising awareness of mental health & wellbeing issues through sport by health experts, rugby professionals and fans. It's success has now lead to it being copied in Australia and NI.

Run and facilitate accredited personal development courses with young people aged 15 - 19 in a range of environments as part of a team. Develop activities to use in school workshops and one off events. During my time I also organised and led on the hosting of a group of international young people from America, Israel and Spain, bringing them together with a group of local young people from Liverpool.

I was a key member of the conferencing team at this prestigious conference venue in central London. I was responsible for the audio visual support given to customers in a wide variety of halls and rooms. I worked on film previews, presentations, lectures, weddings and training seminars, using equipment ranging from 35mm slide projectors to data projectors and mobile sound systems. Clients ranged from blue chip financial firms to media production companies and VIPs.
