During my stay in the Structural Mechanics Group I was involved in several research and consultancy projects with leading companies in the aeronautical and renewable energy sectors. Those projects involved a wide range of finite element analyses.I worked in the integration of finite element packages and programming languages in order to solve optimisation problems. I worked also with programming languages in order to generate parametric models.I collaborated in the development of standalone applications which were provided to our customers.In addition to this I was involved in scientific research, out of what some technical papers were presented in international conferences.Among the extended software used MSC Nastran & Patran, Abaqus CAE, Matlab or Python can be highlighted.Keywords: Optimization, FEA & Structural Dynamicshttp://www.gme.udc.es/en

Internship in the outer harbour of A Coruña, in Punta Langosteira (Arteixo). Singular construction with a dike formed by blocks up to 198 T and 3.5 km long. The project had a budget over 750M€ and was one of the largest harbours in the world.I collaborated with the Production Engineering Department doing the following activities: tracking of production, creation of technical reports, control of production data, control of production stocks and technical support.
