My role is key within the UK Senior Operational Team has the head of compliance and facilities is advising and supporting Managers; supervisors and colleagues which is instrumental to the improvement of the overall Compliance/Facilities Department plus all employees across the Stelrad Group especially UK Mexborough. By ensuring that sound health, safety and environmental practices are identified, documented and fully aligned to the key business drivers whilst ensuring these are understood and complied with throughout the organisation. My senior managerial role and support will enable Stelrad to exceed its statutory and contractual obligations in managing all HSE aspects across a diverse risk landscape to the next level. My role is ultimately responsible for managing and supporting the maintenance/continual improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS) covering ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001. Ensuring that our IMS is fully compliant against applicable standards. As the Compliance & Facilities Manager we support the other SRG companies in all areas relating health, safety, environment and quality and act as the central point for HSE advice and guidance to help deliver cultural development and sustained continual improvement in all aspects of compliance and facilities across the Group.

As the Head of Health & Safety for the whole Company I personally manage this aspect throughout all sectors of the business and ensure that all legislative requirements are strictly adhered to. I actively manage and review fire procedures and systems for the entire premises along with all aspects of security. I chair the monthly safety committee meetings and I have a team of safety reps to assist me in making the Company a safe place to work with that of the senior management. Responsible for all sub-contractors onsite; advise staff on a varied amount of specialist areas such as COSHH, noise and dust. I regularly maintain a good working relationship with our Company insurance and brokers, provide monthly accident stats to the board and display on our notice boards, compile KPI’s, training and during my time with Sheridan part of my role is that I have lead projects and handled all aspects of facilities. During my tenure I have made big changes to our behaviour/culture throughout the business plus project managed some major changes with our LEV system and waste compliancy. Daily I manage a team of maintenance who I find them jobs, prioritise them, get the equipment/materials in for them to carry out the work also make sure it is done safely. I am finally responsible for the Environmental Management systems that we have in place (ISO14001:2015) and that we comply with current legislation to ensure standards are met and always maintained. I have also been the lead in ascertaining us CHAS plus getting the Company ISO 45001:2018 accreditation. I am looking to becoming a Chartered Member of IOSH soonest.

Act as the main focal point of contact for the Company'​ HSSE Department for all offshore related HSSE issues.Drive the Safety Card Observation Log and promote the use of the system. Advise onboard management of HSE considerations during vessel operational meetings and toolbox talks.Implementation of the Health and safety COACH system onboard to assess and verify that the operations adhere to company published procedures, and the procedures themselves remain in line with industry best practices. Collation and delivery of daily and weekly HSE Reports to client representatives and Onshore Management.Attend key vessel operations to provide both marine and survey crews with HSE and medical support.Complete onboard accident / incident investigations including the use of root cause analysis tools.Deliver Gardline HSSE awareness presentations and safety initiatives to all levels of personnel. Design & undertake program of cross audits on-board ensuring the engagement of all elements of the crew within the overall initiative.Support the Chief Officer in the delivery of key marine health and safety responsibilities.Responsible for the maintenance, inspection and operation of medical facilities in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Provide medical advice and treatment ensuring the completion of full medical documentation and records in accordance with regulatory requirements.Coordinate the safe sourcing of further medical advice and treatment onshore through liaison with external OHS providers and onshore agents, through to the safe repatriation of crew members.

Gardline's HSSE & Offshore Medic representative, the Project is mainly Seismic with some Geo technical operations in Trinidad & Tobago.Scope of work include;1. HR Seismic Survey at Angelin and Savannah locations.2. Seabed clearance Survey at Angelin and Savannah (1 & 2 will be acquired simultaneously)3. Geotechnical survey within the Angelin survey area and at the anchor drop location for the semisubmersible at the Savannah location2D HR Seismic Acquisition will be performed using 1200m towed streamer cables and a four (4) sleeve 40 cubic inch air gun array.

Petronas Suriname Project; 80 miles off the coast of the Southern American nation on sites 52 and 54 doing digital and analogue seismic surveying also Piston Coring. Vessel: MV Kommandor

Valhall Oilfield Site; doing DP2 static and dual source arrangements on the permanently installed life of field seismic array then went onto the Magnus Platform to do some environmental work - box coring, day camera and niskin water sampling. Vessel: MV Kommandor

Currently working on a Repsol Project with Gardline in Norway on the Ocean Observer. Current work includes digital/analogue seismic surveying; cone penetrating testing (CPT Ops) and environmental work including deep water camera.

Worked on the 9876 Auriga project with Gardline in West Africa, Conoco Philips was the Client for the project. The vessel was the Ocean Endeavour, the project was and a big environmental job with deep water camera, water sampling (CTD with Rosette) and Box Coring.

Worked on the "9865 Total E & P Libye Project" with Gardline and the client onboard was Total on the Ocean Observer - Digital Seismic Surveying.

Worked on the Angustora Oilfield Site with Gardline and BHPB as the client onboard the Sea Surveyor - Seismic surveying with Geo Technical Operations such as Box Coring and NIOZ Piston Corer.

Worked on the Clare, Valhall & Hodd Oilfield Site with Gardline and BP as the client onboard the Ocean Seeker - seismic surveying with some Geo Technical Operations such as Box Coring.
