As the Wellness Director to the HR Department, I oversee the management of wellness programs for the company and a return-to-work plan of action after COVID-19 Pandemic. I research and present on a variety of wellness topics, author a newsletter for 600+ employees, and provide consultation for any medical issues that arise with employees. I deliver scientific input in the development and implementation of educational programs. Partnering with HR and management, I have played an integral part in the creation of a world-class Wellness Plan including multiple mediums of delivery (lectures, video, written), onsite screening and flu vaccines, open access to employee health concerns, and negotiated rates with insurance providers. Some selected accomplishments from this position are:• I provided coordination of care with outside doctors for employees, saving the company thousands of dollars. • I researched the implementation of point of care rapid COVID-19 screening testing, UV lights to sanitize and save money on cleaning costs, and the acquisition of a highly advanced air filtration system. In addition to creating the infrastructure for this, I also performed PCR testing on employees who were suspected of having COVID -19 exposure. • In collaboration with Human Resources and management, we devised an effective return-to-work plan after the COVID-19 Pandemic to ensure health and safety for company. • I actively educated employees on the avenues that stress and mental health issues affect overall wellbeing and job performance.

This role was one of my proudest accomplishments, and I was very disappointed to see the position eliminated. While here, I delivered scientific input on the development and implementation of educational programs, reviewing online CME to ensure accuracy and quality prior to launch. I researched medical companies for acquisition or partnership and reviewed the competition to develop novel ways to plan meetings to compete with these agencies. I recruited MDVIP and Rutgers University as strategic partners. I continued to maintain current knowledge of medical research. I also attended significant medical conferences and presented management with ways to improve meetings and provide editorial content for publication. Interviewed and recorded videos with key thought leaders. Some of my achievements in this role included:• I interviewed all editors of corporate journals and respective editorial boards, recruited new editorial board members to strengthen publications, and made recommendations for reduction or replacement of staff, saving the company several thousand dollars.• I authored engaging and unique content for HCP Live, Contagion, Pharmacy Times, American Journal of Managed Care, Psychiatric Times, Contemporary Cardiology, MDMag, Medical Economics, and other publications, increasing readership of several core brands by 80%.• In collaboration with our ad agency, “Truth Serum,” I developed effective marketing campaigns to promote two drugs in late development. • I maintained current knowledge of data, trends, developments in all aspects of medicine, and COVID-19, recruiting critical strategic partners to develop educational products and content.• I hosted videos on therapy for peanut allergies, Shringrix vaccine, medical malpractice, primary care, and concierge medicine, Myeloma, and artificial intelligence, participated in video content across all brands, and reviewed the content of CME and editorial brands.

In my private practice, I provided personalized health care to patients in my small practice as a Board-Certified Internist affiliated with MDVIP, the largest concierge medical group in the U.S. I counseled patients on wellness and prevention utilizing an evidence-based model of care. I served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Rutgers Medical School and Clinical Instructor at Monmouth University School of Health Sciences. I was appointed to be a Federally Certified Medical Examiner for the U.S. Department of Transportation. I also operated as Editor in Chief of Internal Medicine World Report for MJH Life Sciences. A few highlights from this position include:• I spearheaded the first concierge medical practice in Princeton, NJ to develop personalized wellness plans, provide outpatient medical care in the office, Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center, at home, or convalescent center. • I was recognized with multiple awards for quality in medicine and reputation with patients including U.S. News, Castle Connelly, New Jersey Magazine, and Health Grades. • I presented to physician groups and patients on the benefits of wellness and prevention.

I was an active speaker, thought leader, and trainer for Merck, Lilly, Novartis, and Pfizer. I conducted clinical research on the effectiveness of Triptans to treat migraines and fluoxetine for depression and PMDD. I taught residents and students at Rutgers Medical School as Assistant Clinical Professor.
