The Wellington Centre was delivered on time and on budget in the heart of Hastings. Throughout my time with the Sams’ family I also managed their property portfolio, including residential and commercial BTL properties. Reason for leaving: As an unattached person I took the opportunity to live and work in Asia, and experience the lifestyle / work balance that such a position could offer. I found a role within Financial Services and was successful following an interview in London.

As a family we setup a Spanish limited company and sourced suitable building land. We contracted a local construction company after putting the job out to tender. Finance was arranged through a regional bank and we spent 2 years developing a block of 12 One and Two Bedroom apartments. I managed the marketing and sale of every unit without external agents. Arranged mortgages for our Expat clients that purchased.In addition to our development, I co-managed an additional 4 ad hoc renovations with my brother and father, including two traditional Spanish rural fincas that needed to be segregated and extended.Reason for leaving: My father unfortunately suffered a heart attack whilst in Spain and wanted to be closer to home. We sold on the company which included another parcel of land that we had not yet developed on.
