1. As an SNCO Aircraft Technician at Royal Air Force for over 21 years, I have been responsible for managing the serviceability of all aspects of the mechanical trade of the Sentry fleet, a vital component of the UK's airborne early warning and control system. I have been certified in all mechanical aspects, specialising in Boeing Aircraft and both CFM/GE engines, and have acquired multiple qualifications in quality assurance, non-destructive testing, and fuel tank maintenance.In addition to supervising and developing the careers of up to 20 airframe personnel per shift, I have also liaised with outside agencies, monitored out of phase maintenance, carried out independent inspections, performed audits on aircraft processes and documentation, and rectified trade aspects of the Sentry fleet. I have also conducted liquid oxygen quality testing and equipment maintenance, and have demonstrated strong analytical and technical skills in troubleshooting issues and enacting corrective, scheduled and preventive maintenance actions. I have always been committed to unfailing accuracy and safety, and have performed in-process and final aircraft inspections with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
