Directly building on the foundation of integrity, I have found that collaboration starts with working to solve other stakeholders' needs - not your own. To actively assist others first not only builds mutual respect but has enabled me to start talking their language and communicating more effectively.Vision ---------An old Proverb says "Where there is no vision, the people perish". Clear communication of vision and strategy includes the definition of growth plans, management of roadmaps and product commercialization. My career has shown that to be successful, the review and communication of vision has to be repeated consistently and frequently - especially in the SaaS/software realm where requirements and expectations can change rapidly.Experience---------In my career I have launched and managed teams that have commercialized over 20 new software & hardware products. This brings a depth of expertise in product management that can be leveraged by any industry or technology. My goal is to grow and pass on this experience, remain teachable and continue to create profitable business growth.Growth Mindset---------As an overarching tenet of product management, the growth mindset recognizes that your basic qualities can be cultivated through effort, strategy and help from others. It creates a passion for learning and a desire to embrace the difficult tasks - viewing them as opportunities to learn & grow - to effectively get smarter (whether you succeed or fail). I view this mindset as being imperative for product management - to learn from success and failure. In reality, true failure isn't 'making a mistake'. True failure is not learning.
