I have lived and worked in Asia since 1989, retired from the British Army in 1993 as a Senior Rank Bomb Disposal Engineer with Commando Forces after almost 20 years of service. Much of my army tenure was with the Commando Brigade, during which I made more than 3,000 parachute jumps.After the Falklands War, seven tours of active duty in Northern Ireland, and several years on active counter-terrorist duty, I was honoured with the British Empire Medal for Meritorious Service in 1992.Today, I am Founder and Chairman of The ASA Group - a global security, travel, logistics, and business aviation services company with a world-wide reputation. I have taken the company from 1 person in 1 country in 1999 to overseeing and expanding the group to today’s multinational operations with offices in UK, USA, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, and the Philippines, completing projects in almost 100 countries. ► The ASA Group currently has four core divisions: 1.
