Simon has more than 15 years of international mining experience leading teams through permitting, design, construction, and execution phases. He has significant corporate and capital-intensive asset development experience spanning Canada, USA, Mexico, and Argentina including two separate relocations. Currently working with a private (now public) copper-focused exploration company, Canadian Copper Inc., which has assets in New Brunswick, Canada. Simon took this Company public in July 2022 after joining the business in November, 2021. He has been responsible for Canadian Copper's go-to-market strategy, financing, its public listing, and asset restructuring to increase its focus and grow mineral resources. Since going public, Canadian Copper's copper equivalent mineral resources grew by +500% through exploration and one major deposit acquisition. Other corporate activities included an off-take agreement and a multi-asset divestment.Recently completed his Northwestern Kellogg Executive MBA Program to improve his leadership, strategy, and finance skills through a top-tier, internationally recognized program.Key soft skills include self-awareness, integrity, and compassion.
