MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:1. To develop and maintain documentation and associated scripts in relation to the Quality Assurance testing of the K8 application system, the KCML environment and both existing and new operating systems.2. To test, assess and maintain the quality of the K8 3. To form part of a team that ensures that the K8 application maintains the position as market leading position.4. Ensure Core K8 and customer specific releases are tested on a regular basis according to the product release schedule.5. Work with the Product Release Manager development consultants and developers on the creation, maintenance and execution of manual test scripts6. Make full use of internal systems, include the use of activity logging and the completion of test issues on the internal issues database7. Assist with all aspects of system documentation and ensure that the system and test documentation is updated correctly8. To advise colleagues, when appropriate, in the remedial action needed to resolve system errors and deficiencies, documenting any changes recommended9. To cover for colleagues, as and when required, in all areas where knowledge overlaps

1. Perform functional, integration and system test with Agile as well as Waterfall management models 2. Acting as main contact point for technical issues during functional and user acceptance test. 3. Assist with test lead to estimate efforts for new projects4. Raise defects using JTRAC tool6. Manually execute test cases using Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Excel for unit, integration and system tests including, local variations7. Execute manual tests using test environments for both Web and ERP system using main web browsers for web testing and Windows XP and Windows 7 for ERP testing8. In charge of defects triage meeting, co-ordinate with members from other departments, such as development team, technical support team and business stakeholders9. Mentor junior members of staff and new starters

1. Working with project team for business process mapping and documenting of standard operating procedures for ERP implementation using methodology created by Unipart2. Working with project training team to create and deliver end user training for ERP implementation and supporting documentation including help cards

1. Inbound calls from Customers placing orders on to a Legacy system2. Exception handling of orders including declined credit cards and blocked orders 3. Sourcing products where available from trade counters to complete customer’s back orders
