As Marketing Director I am part of the senior leadership team and sit on the board of directors at The Brewery. I have overall responsibility for the venues online and offline marketing, brand management and public relations with further key involvement in all areas of product development. Since I have been involved in this role The Brewery has enjoyed it's most successful years to date which has seen rapid growth, record levels of revenue through sales and consistently high levels of customer satisfaction. My key contribution to the success has been made through implementing new and unique strategies that have created a strong digital presence across a number of platforms which in conjunction with other marketing initiatives has led to a significant increase in enquiry level and conversion rates. After delivering a successful rebrand for The Brewery it has now become one of the most recognised and respected brands in the global events market.

This role saw me contribute to the overall marketing and sales strategy for The Brewery whilst also working alongside clients to develop and implement ideas that enhanced their events. Key responsibilities included:- Brand management of main Brewery brand as well as sub brands for The Fairytale of New York, The Retreat and Weddings by The Brewery.- Involved in creating and implementing yearly marketing and project strategy's. - The Brewery's on and offline marketing activity in line with strategy including campaign creation, delivery, design and digital agency management with clear return on investment measurement.- Management of multiple social media accounts and social media strategy.- To co-ordinate all public relations activity alongside pr agency.- Creative development of the website to consistently evolve ahead of competitors, sell product and packages in a unique way and maximise time spent by visitors on the site.- Work alongside digital agency to manage SEO and SEM campaigns.- Pitch creative solutions and with success design and on and off site project manage all elements of high profile client corporate events. - Produce conceptual designs and packages to stimulate business.- Review and develop procedures in areas of client focus for current offerings from proposals to food development as well as the look and feel of the Brewery.- To develop and deliver the key concepts for special events and Christmas parties and develop and implementation key marketing strategies around this.

As part of Marriott's graduate management program I was placed at Bexleyheath Marriott in Kent. Here I gained experience working in the following positions:- Restaurant Manager- Conference and Banqueting Manager- Sales and Marketing ExecutiveIn these positions I was responsible for running a team of up to 20 people and also was responsible for the successful financial and operation running of the department.I also took part in a number of 4 day residential Marriott management courses which focused on key managerial skills.
