Simon leads Lockton London's P&C Specialties practice and has specific responsibility for the production, programme design and placement of worldwide property & casualty risks. Collaborating and client prospecting closely with retail offices around the world, one of Simon's key areas of focus involves combining his group's considerable talent to develop new products and facilities. He and his team market and service property and casualty risks into the Lloyd's, London Companies, Asian, Continental European and Bermudian markets.Prior to this, Simon headed the North American wholesale property practice which he formed from start up in June 2006. Simon has spent 37 years specialising in the production, design and placement of major multi-national and single territory insurance and captive reinsurance programmes. He started his career in 1986 with a 2-year secondment to Bowring Barclays, South Africa where he specialised in mining and major industrial conglomerates. He returned to Marsh in London before leaving as a Vice-President in 1997. He then spent 5 years as a Partner with JLT Risk Solutions followed by 4 years as Director of Property at Miller before joining Lockton in 2006.
