Dr. Simon Sherry, Registered Psychologist, is a tenured Professor in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Dalhousie University. He holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Sherry is a specialist in treating and assessing depression, anxiety, perfectionism, personality disorders, alcohol misuse, and eating disorders. He also treats and assesses a wide variety of other mental health difficulties.Dr. Sherry directs Dalhousie University’s Personality Research Team. His research program investigates the role of personality (e.g., perfectionism) in relationship problems, depression, eating disorders, and alcohol misuse. Dr. Sherry has published 160 scientific articles and earned more than $2.5 million in grant funds. He has received several awards for his scientific research and clinical practice.
