Aviation Teknology Ltd is based at Richard Pearse Airport, Timaru, South Canterbury. Aircraft Maintenance Engineer responsible for carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements on general aviation aircraft. Includes piston and gas turbine engines, agricultural aircraft, private and flying club aircraft types.

Completed a 5 year aeronautical mechanical apprenticeship, finishing as a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. Undertaking a variety of mechanical and composite repairs, troubleshooting, and scheduled/unscheduled maintenance on a variety of aircraft in the airline's fleet, as well as customer aircraft (Virgin Australia, Jetstar, National Science Foundation (USAF), Singapore Airlines, Air Caledonia, Fiji Airways, Qantas).

Delivering and maintaining rental healthcare equipment into District Health Board facilities and the community within the Canterbury region.

Short-term, seasonal work over the NZ summer. Unloading mussel boats and sorting produce into various sizes to be further distributed. Long and intensive hours - shift work.

My role as an Assistant Language Teacher consisted working with members of the English department to plan and implement the English curriculum to a selection of classes, ranging from general communication, public speaking and international understanding to specific English conversation classes.I thoroughly enjoyed my first year contract, leading me to renew for a second year, which was equally worthwhile.
