Worked on the Impact Survey project through the University of Washington. This research investigates the importance of public accessing computing at community libraries. My primary responsibilities have involved designing the website for libraries to find information about the Impact Survey and register to host the survey. Major accomplishments:Built business process for Impact Survey website.Developed wireframes for Impact Survey website.Developed copy and data mapping for automated reporting services.Developed automated promotional materials using MySQL, PHP, and the TCPDF class for PHP.

Upon leaving my full-time position at the Archdiocese of Chicago, I proposed that I could lead the selection process for a student information system (SIS) to be adopted by the 257 schools in their system. There had been much desire for identifying and an adopting an SIS, but little agreement or coordination between the Archdiocese's IT department, the leadership at the schools, and the central school office staff. What had been delayed for almost ten years, I was able to deliver in just over six months.Formed and led SIS selection committee to evaluate potential vendors and identify needs for the system. Designed surveys and performed interviews to identify user needs for the system.Developed project budget and implementation schedule.Leveraged the size of the system to help negotiate a very affordable contract for schools and minimized fiscal burden of the central office.

I worked for the Archdiocese of Chicago's Office of Catholic Schools managing the largest non-public school database in the world. Core responsibilities included managing the data collection from 258 schools through an annual survey process. In order to extract value from the data, I developed and designed over 250 reports using Crystal Reports. Additional major accomplishments included:Redesigned teacher compensation scale from 2004 through 2008. Designed enrollment forecast model that predicted within .0004% accuracy the 2008-2009 elementary enrollment. Managed a three hundred thousand dollar grant awarded to students displaced by hurricanes Katrina and Rita. In addition, researched policy decisions set by the federal government that led to additional financial compensation to school.
