I have worked in Financial Services since leaving college in 1994, firstly at Nationwide, where the customer service training was truly excellent. If you recall, there was a lot of demutualisation at the time and Nationwide was keen to differentiate itself. I finished there in 1999 having made my way up through the ranks to Mortgage Adviser. As is the same for many people moving to and living in Reading I had a stint at the Pru, where I dealt with valuable bulk annuity business for key corporate clients. After over 8 years of working for a reputable Wealth Manager, I decided to take the plunge to become a self-employed Financial Adviser working with a well respected local firm of advisers. I provide a holistic service and so, I consider my clients' overall financial position and help them to prioritise their needs and objectives.The key elements of my role are to understand my clients’ current situation, objectives and risk tolerance.
