I developed previously learned skills to play a leading role in the delivery of successful PR and marketing campaigns. Duties included high-quality content creation, as well as implementing strategies for clients to boost brand awareness of their products and services.During my time at OggaDoon, I worked on a variety of B2B and B2C projects.

I created pervasive communications for B2B clients in sectors such as health tech, cyber security, property technology, finance and more. Duties include: - Creating social media for OggaDoon and its clients. - Creating press releases based on breaking developments and updates for clients - Crafting comment pieces/ blogs to position brands as leaders in their fields. - Compiling and presenting analytics reports to help clients understand progress and areas for improvement. - Liaising with press, networks and partners to help raise brand awareness and achieve goals. - Designing assets on Canva for OggaDoon and its clients. Working with web developers and designers to make changes to websites. As the Digital Marketing Executive, and sole member of the Marketing department for PerformanceIN, I was responsible for all outward public communications across social media, newsletters and adverts for each event: PI LIVE London and NYC, Influencer Marketing Show London and NYC, Performance Marketing Awards, International Performance Marketing Awards and the Influencer Marketing Awards. My role included: - Working with each department (Events, Design, Content and Sales) to implement marketing strategies and raise brand awareness, regularly inform users of event news and inspire conversions in the form of event tickets, sponsorships and more. - Setting up media partnerships with external publications to promote and advertise our events across various regions and areas. I also liaised with each client and managed each relationship to keep them informed on our events.- Using paid advertising to retarget users who had previously visited our websites to inspire conversions.- Learning more in-depth design experience, using Adobe Photoshop to create images for social media, adverts and newsletters.- Working with the PerformanceIN and Talking Influence publications (ran in-house) to devise content strategy to advertise the events.- Advertising one-off social events and webinars to build interest to bring the performance and influencer community together. - Utilising newer marketing models like chatbots to ensure customers' questions were answered quickly and efficiently.Programmes used: - WordPress, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Drift, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Ad Manager, LinkedIn Advertise, Universe, Typeform, Zapier and Adobe Photoshop.

As a Digital Marketing Apprentice for Connect Digital, I worked in a small marketing agency which aimed to raise the clients' brand awareness, increase revenue, connect with new customers and retain existing customers. My role included: - Creating valuable content/ lead magnets to inspire brand loyalty and awareness. - Taking control of the social media strategy for several of Connect Digital's clients.- Working on the refreshed look of several of the client's websites so they were more SEO optimised, which helped to increase conversions and awareness of the brand.Programmes used: Canva, Google Tag Manager, Serpstat, WordPress, Facebook Manager, Hootsuite.

As a Digital Marketing Apprentice for SpiderGroup, I worked with the marketing team to help build clients' online presence by using lead-generating digital marketing strategies such as SEO, PPC and more. My skills included: - Learning PPC and SEO so I could assist in strategies for clients. - Delivering monthly and quarterly reports for my selection of clients. - Writing web copy for clients' websites to keep content fresh and to the best possible quality.- Assisting members of the digital marketing team to ensure a high-quality output was guaranteed. Programmes used: SEMRush (measuring the performance of SEO keyword rankings and SERPs), Google Ads (implementing the PPC strategy, and measuring the performance of conversions etc), Sprout Social and Google Analytics.

My skills included: - Customer service, including 100% engagement success with a mystery shopper.- Planning schedules for colleagues in my team.- Conducting performance reviews and taking minutes for meetings.- Upskilling colleagues and using initiative to deliver the best possible shopping experience.- Checking the health and safety of my department on a weekly basis.

With this section, I covered a breadth of Plymouth's culture, film, television, music and theatre. I organised four partnerships:- The Theatre Royal Plymouth partnership was co-organised by Daryl Jenner and myself. We covered big scale productions such as Wicked, The Full Monty, 1984 and more.- The Renegade Music partnership was co-organised by predominately James Heward and myself. We were given access to promotional press release singles and albums to review. They also supported us with organising passes to see, interview and report on gigs. - The Island Records partnership was co-organised by Anique Cox and myself. - The Pomona partnership was co-organised by James Heward and myself and this focused entirely on new music.

My role included guiding writers, suggesting events to cover, editing using WordPress and publishing articles on Facebook and Twitter. The paper shared partnerships with Plymouth Argyle, Albion and Raiders.This section won 'Most Improved Section' at The Knowledge Awards 2014. The readership and likes rapidly increased due to the fantastic new writers. It held the record for the most liked article with over 1100 likes on an article about a student who competed in the 2012 Olympics.
