Litigation is about succeeding. Success is subjective, but easily spotted. It is about identifying and achieving clear objectives. Litigation, indeed any type of Dispute Resolution, is and should be outcome focussed.I am Head of Dispute Resolution at Howard Kennedy LLP and I sit on Howard Kennedy's Management Board. The Dispute Resolution department includes 14 Partners and Senior Consultants and over 40 lawyers with support across 5 teams, Commercial Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, Business Crime and Regulatory, Media and Personal Injury. My recent experience includes working within the hotel and leisure, sport and marketing industries, for property funds, professional businesses including estate agents and for a significant number of privately owned businesses. In addition to acting in numerous cases within the higher courts in England, including the Court of Appeal and Privy Council, I have been involved in actions across Europe, Australia, the United States and in South Africa. Previous experience extends to litigation in India and Brazil. I am as comfortable though helping individuals resolve their issues within relationships that happily date back to the early stages of my career. I enjoy being treated as a trusted advisor and cherish the responsibility and support that are essential parts of that role.
