I started teer in 2002 to mentor and coach; start-ups, early-growth stage and established design firms.This work typically involves working directly with owner-founders and leaders through a mix of 1:1 consultancy, mentoring and coaching to help them realise potential. We explore behaviours and attitudes, we identify goals and understand internal and external perceptions, we craft value propositions and shape activities that help maintain and develop businesses. Location permitting, I work right alongside my clients to build trust, to become part of the team and to feel the genuine pulse of the company. I bring that critical external perspective, valuable industry insights and practical objective guidance to challenge, motivate and facilitate such areas as;- the exploration and implementation of a 'proactive-working' culture and behaviours,- the introduction of innovative and progressive new business initiatives,- tackling day-to-day business issues and challenges,- influencing owner-founder / leader / team mindsets, and more.The value of engaging teer is the understanding and perspective that comes from my work with 40+ agencies and many great designers since the mid-80s, helping them to; understand and shape their purpose, make valuable business connections and build tangible value.2. We’re for those who share our love of wood, elegant design, hand craftsmanship and creating original art and distinctive forever furnishings that endure, and minimise our impact on the environment.Teer & Co was inspired by my appreciation and understanding of great design and refined workmanship from working with many talented designers and artisans since the 1980s. Interior designers, architects, developers and private clients work with us in one of three ways: 1. They either purchase a standard made-to-order item from our online Collection.2. Alternatively, we can customise some of our standard Collection items if a change to the size, material or finish of a current design is preferred.3. And we work with clients to commission a recommended maker to create a completely bespoke piece of furniture or object from conception through to completion to help realise their own ideas.
