I am a Solicitor and Chartered Arbitrator. A construction and engineering lawyer with extensive process engineering experience in the UK and overseas. For many years I have prepared and run cases at senior level including 17 major reported cases in the High Court (OR’s/TCC) and Court of Appeal. My matters range from the largest such as the Great Eastern Hotel action against Laing (2002-2005), process engineering disputes here and overseas (2003 to date) on bio-ethanol, LDPE, EVOH, Polystyrene, waste to energy plants, fluidized bed combustion systems, high voltage electrical apparatus disputes, oil and gas terminals, pipelines, floating offshore jetty. Litigation and dispute related work often puts me up front and behind the scenes on many major building projects including Heathrow Terminal 5, Wembley Stadium, White City, NHS Healthcare PFI/SPV disputes and disputes over the engineering of data centres. There is little in disputes in the construction/engineering business I have not been involved with in some way.
