Took time out to focus on recovery from post viral fatigue. Celebrated getting my health back by training for and competing in a 600km bike packing ultra!

Interim role to re-focus the Plastic Oceans Foundation (UK) into a global behaviour change platform (as 'Ocean Generation'). Delivered a new strategy, IP, corporate partnership model, senior team, and merger with Ocean Generation, creating the new brand vehicle for a re-launch.

We say this is an opportunity to be properly "present", have an adventure and learn more about ourselves and the people we meet along the way. Our children say this is a major mid-life crisis! 9 months with my wife and an off-road tandem. Started in Jasper, Canada and followed the high route down the spine of the Rockies to the Mexican boarder. 3 months around New Zealand. 3 months SE Asia...

Interim role, reporting into the Board, taking day-to-day ownership for current operations whilst also leading a fundamental re-think of the role of MADE-BY in driving change in the fashion and apparel sectors. Left with firm transition plan in place and Transition Director appointed.

Challenged the way a global Standard (certification) system can achieve impact as a "change platform" - refocused the purpose and implemented a radical change in strategy and governance in order to become "the" platform for sustainable sugarcane (the largest agri commodity in the world). Professionalised the organisation and transferred ownership of industry engagement from London to the field; radically improving perception and engagement, leading to real change on the ground. Significantly increased in membership and income.

Global role leading the development and implementation of group strategy and it's translation into regional and local strategy.> Global strategy to focus all operations on Health and Child Protection (The bookends of development for the next generation).
