Taikura Trust provides Needs Assessment and Service Coordination services for the people in Auckland living with a disability. Things can get complex very quickly in this sector, but keeping things simple, my role is to ensure our front-line teams have the tools and resources they need to do the great work that they do.My previous role was at Aeroqual, an Auckland based technology company that is changing the way people understand the air they breathe. Aeroqual make simple air quality tools that companies, communities and citizens can use to monitor and respond to air pollution wherever they live, work and play. In a space that's seen as new and disruptive, Aeroqual have been leading innovators for over a decade. As Head of Finance I supported the great work done by the R&D, Product Development, Production, Marketing, Sales and Customer Service teams; providing the structure and controls behind the scenes enabling the business to continue to grow. Going back even further in time, my experience covers a range of enterprises (small / large, start up /mature, public / private, NZ, Aus, USA, UK) across a range of industries - FMCG, Medical Device, Manufacturing, Research & Development, Service, Project Based and Hospitality. My capabilities include Problem Solving, Data Analysis, Accounting, Taxation, Business Process Improvement, ERP implementation, Management Consulting, Forecasting and Business Strategy. Primary qualifications include CA in 2010 and BCom Hons 2007.
