Lighthouse is a digital conveyancing platform; a secure, integrated SaaS platform for lawyers and their clients to complete property transactions.The Lighthouse platform allows lawyers to manage transactions, automate and streamline common tasks, integrate with the tools and systems they use day-to-day and uses AI to review and draft legal documents related to property transactions.

As the General Manager for Digital Engineering, my focus was on delivering world-class outcomes through Software Engineering for our Wellington customers through the leadership of a deeply talented team of over 120 across Modernisation, App Innovation, Integration, Quality Assurance, Project Delivery and Business Analysis.

Expanding on my role leading Datacom's national mobile capability, my responsibilities were further broadened to oversee the Auckland Software Build practice.This expanded position entrusted me with the leadership of a diversified team of 76 professionals, each with unique technical capabilities. My primary responsibilities included managing and ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale programs for our enterprise and mid-market clients.

As the leader of Datacom's Mobile Capability in New Zealand, I was responsible for managing a dynamic team of 30 professionals. My role included fostering key customer relationships and ensuring the successful delivery of critical projects.Simultaneously, I was instrumental in setting long-term strategic priorities for Datacom within the front-end development domain. Through innovation and enhancement of our market offerings, I ensured the delivery of high-quality, modern solutions to our clients, underlining Datacom's capability in front-end development.

I founded Black Software with the belief that people chose to engage with and respond to living, breathing solutions.That’s what set Black Software apart: Our digital business solutions weren’t about building websites or Apps; they were about building relationships with customers.We partnered with our clients to construct and continue to develop products which bridged the gap between the real world and the digital space. And to reinforce that bond continuously.Black Software built up our own business on the principle of ongoing customer relationships.As an end-to-end digital development company, we were always looking to forge new partnerships with creative and ambitious companies.Our team of 10 had a highly focused skill-set, centered around developing the best solutions for clients; our experience covered a wide range of fields – giving us the insight to create unique, compelling experiences for users.

I co-founded Brandfibre while still at university. Going on to lead and implement many of the digital programmes during my tenure.In my role, I was responsible for exploring the digital opportunities that existed for our clients before developing an overarching strategic approach that defined what they needed to communicate and the smartest way to deliver it. Once clients moved past this strategic phase, my responsibility encompassed managing the team in delivering these digital touch points.

I founded VWD to capture an expanding set of independent clients approaching me for a wide range of digital solutions, from brochure websites to small ERP applications.

Party NZ was established to challenge conventional online directories such as Yellow and the Localist. Although the venture never took hold commercially, it paved the way for work I would encounter later in my career, and helped shape how I build built cross disciplinary teams today.
