I serve in the Board of Inclusion Africa - a continental NGO serving persons with intellectual disabilities and their families. It has presence in 25 countries. I was elected to serve as the Chairperson of the Partners' communication team of the Voices for Just Climate Action. Under this role, I coordinate communication officers and managers funded under this programme to tell climate change-related stories, collaborate and indeed amplify the agenda. This is the first disabled persons organisation (DPO) to target persons with disabilities from nomadic communities. One of my biggest and most fulfilling achievements was to launch a scholarship programme targeting children with disabilities from they dry and marginalised regions of Kenya. I also inspired the team to organise the 2019 Desert Wheelrace, a unique wheelchair race that features participants from 22 nomadic counties in Kenya.
