Development of a Climate Risk solution for the Kenyan financial system through the 'Greening the Financial Systems Technical Assistance Programme' by the European Investment Bank. The flagship programme is supporting Financial regulators (CBK) and their counterparties to integrate climate risk in their ESMS. As the Climate Risk Junior Expert, I am responsible for the research and analysis of the climate risks in Kenya and development of a climate risk map solution for the identification of the climate risks.

Continuum Africa bestowed upon me, the essential basics on all aspects in a business from starting up, accounting, marketing and out-sourcing. Here are a few highlights:1. At continuum Africa, we were able to tender for some of the government's projects successfully. Examples include KFS Eco-lodge sites such as Ragati forest, Kinale forest, Kimakia and Kijabe forest sites2. We brought in Zigor corporation (renowned Renewable energy manufacturer in spain) and presented the first ever hybrid inverter to Rural Electrification Authority (R.E.A), Kengen and Kenya Power.3. We extended our services to the hospitality industry as soon as we found an unoccupied niche; project management services. Some of our clients included KFC (Woodvale, Limuru Road and Mombasa Road), Subway (The Junction, TRM, Limuru Road, Kenyatta Avenue and Argwings Kodhek), Big Square (The oval and Garden city mall), Naked Pizza (Mombasa Road), ADEC Data Center (EPZ) and many more.My main responsibilities were:1. The period spent at Commercial Genset Machines was wonderful and informative. I was able to interact with professionals in the company who had years of experience in the supply and maintenance of generators across the coastal region. My time was spent receiving and testing new generators from Italy, servicing and making maintenance rounds for different customers and installing new generators for clients. I cherish the hands - on engineering experience acquired and special thanks to Lombardini engines and Iveco motors for i can work through a diesel motor efficiently.
