Full IT responsibility for Winstanley Associates Limited to include day to day IT operations through to Technology annual budget spend. Helped the business grow through website design & hosting, introduction & implementation of telephone/VOIP system, CRM system & disruptive technology solutions.

Developed eCommerce stores to sell a different range of products, installation of Windows server and multiple Windows clients for file sharing and Quickbooks multi user, installation of Synology products for backup purposes connected with Cat 6 network for future proofing. General management of the day to day running of the business including accounts, invoices, banking, deliveries, customer serving, stock control, asset tracking, IT break-fix and trouble shooting. Developed a desktop app to track the management of gas cylinders we provide to customers.

1st line support, taking telephone calls on the helpdesk from end users, escalating problems as necessary within the IT department. Contacting and liaising with external IT contractors. Supporting users using Windows XP, Blackberries and iPhones. Supporting servers running Microsoft Server 2003/2008, Exchange 2003/2007 and Blackberry Enterprise Server. Creating, editing and removal of user accounts using Active Directory. Used RealVNC for remote sessions to connect to users desktops.

1st line support, taking telephone calls on the helpdesk from end users, escalating problems as necessary within the required SLA’s. 2nd line support, including on-site evaluation and trouble-shooting of user problems and/or needs, installing new equipment including; client PC’s/Laptops (inc. Docking stations) and printers. Escalating to outsourced companies where repair of certain parts were necessary and set SLA’s in accordance to the ITIL Framework. Backing up vital hospital data and restoring data as necessary using Symantec Backup Exec as monthly backup tasks. Supported software included Office 200/2003 as well as national applications including PACS, ESR, ICM, CRIS and Choose & Book. The role included support for servers (physical and virtual). Clients (2000/XP), with Active Directory as the backbone of the organisations IT infrastructure.
