Freelance Journalist and Writer, amongst others for Maastricht University's weekly newspaper Observant. Weekly column about my life and views as a Master's student in the academic year 2022-2023, both in the printed version and online (observantonline.nl). Regularly reports about phenomena that make me curious.

In this position, I manage the word press-based company website innbetween.nl. Every week, I write the newsletter, in which we inform our stakeholders of the latest activities and plans of The InnBetween. Additionally, I assist the Student Team in finding creative ideas for their next events.

As a Student Board Member, I organised 4-5 events per academic year, which were aimed at international students.Among the numerous events was a lecture by Prof. Dr. Thomas Conzelmann (Professor of International Relations) from Maastricht University about Donald Trump's life before his inauguration and possible consequences of him being in White House. Prof. Conzelmann also discussed Trump's impact on NATO. The event was well-attended and found positive response in university media.

Writing, editing, interviewingKlenkes, a regional magazine focused on culture and the euregion Maas-Rhein (Aachen/Liège/Maastricht) is published for over 40 years. Every issue reports on current local topics and reports on the most recent gigs, festivals and events nearby. With a monthly circulation of more than 40.000 issues, it reaches it readership in all three countries.Klenkes neo is it's 'younger brother'. Focussed on a younger readership (up to 35 years), neo discusses the 'Lokalszene' and gives young ambitious locals a chance to introduce themselves.

During this internship, I improved my writing skills. As an intern, it was my responsibility to update the online news service on klenkes.de every morning. In the afternoons, I wrote articles and held interviews for Klenkes and Klenkes neo, the print products. Additionally, I also assisted the marketing department in focussing on new clientele.

Assisting customers with breakdowns & supporting customers with questions and issues related to their Mercedes-Benz cars

In this position, I provided additional lessons to pupils in their home environment. Focussing on English and German, I was often confronted with clients who were about to fail the year. In many cases, I was able to save them from this. tutoria GmbH is an online service for parents searching for good quality home tutors.
