• Simultaneously with the above, upgraded and transitioned the Skills Funding Agency’s time recording application onto a new PaaS platform on Azure
• Managed 3rd party development resource to ensure delivery to agreed timeframes and required quality
• Worked closely with the Technical Design Authority team to design, build, test and implement the new Azure platforms
• Obtained security accreditation for the finance portfolio of applications by formulating a strategy to address the vulnerabilities found during penetration testing. This strategy was then implemented successfully

On leaving EDS in October I entered the contract market and secured a 4 month contract with the Steria Group (formerly Xansa) as a Project Manager working on projects for the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) in Coventry

Outsourced to EDS where I continued as a Project Manager on Rolls-Royce application development projects. Later became Live support Manager for the Internet Services Group before moving to the Ministry of Justice account where I Project Managed the upgrade of the Jury Management System. Finally I became Live Support Manager for the new MoJ systems

Started at Rolls-Royce as an engineer and moved into project management after joining their IT group
