• Updating management on morning meeting with 24 hour production and plant status than give feedback and daily plan to subordinates( one panel operator,6 process controller and 2 labourers) and daily plan.• Maintain product specifications.• Start up and shut down of plant as per Safety Operating Procedure.• Discuss plant conditions with previous shift during shift handover. • Responsible of issuing permits to work.• Responsible of operating the plant within operating envelopes and monitoring of the plants and respond to any deviation.• Complete all paperwork required on an ongoing basis, filling log sheets and signing off , plant defects .• Responsible for issuing Job Card for plant breakdowns to maintenance.• Responsible of calling standby fitter and electrician after hours when breakdowns occur.• Making sure employees are wearing correct PPE if they performing certain tasks.• Ensure that all safety procedures are adhered to during all aspects of plant operations.• Ensure that high level of good housekeeping is maintained.• Responsible for doing time sheet for the shift.• Responsible of doing Shift report at the end of each shift.• Supervise loading and offloading of trucks.• Carrying out reasonable instruction and make sure daily targets are met.• Supervise all transfer of oil that are happening on site and make sure there is no contamination of products.•Training and mentoring of employees.•Participation in MOC'S / HAZOPS / RCA'S / RISK REVIEWS, etc•Process troubleshooting•Process optimisation• Ensual adequate restorsing on shift staff•Ensure adequate resources on shift (staff, consumables etc).•Overtime work authorisation

• Monitoring process parameters and respond appropriately to deviation in other to safely produce quality product. Performing plant checks and compiles report on daily analyses.•Responsible of taking samples for quality checks •Responsible of doing housekeeping in the plant• Responsible of doing plant checks and compile log sheets • Operating the following process plant using SCADA Software :Force Feed Evaporator, Heat Soak(Thermal Cracking), Modern Vertical Filters. Vacuum Distillation, Hydrogen Plant(electrolysis of water technology in the presence of 25% potassium hydroxide) , Hydrogenation Plant with (continuous catalytic bed reactors), Thin film evaporation, blend plant also operating two steam Boilers, Demine Plant lastly effluent Plant. LAB EXPOSURE:One year experience for quality assurance using different lab machines (Pensky-Martens for Flash point, Karl Fischer for testing water content, Viscometer for testing viscosity)COMPUTER LAB STUDENT AIDE :Student Aide and Tutoring fundamentals of MS Word, MS Excel and Chem CAD.Mentoring first year students and tutoring them Mathematics and Chemistry.
