CurrentAs Recruitment Programmes & Outreach Advisor at Penguin Random House UK, I lead the delivery of key outreach and training programmes, including The Scheme and our Summer Internships, to attract and recruit top talent for our hard-to-hire areas. I manage the entire recruitment process, from planning and selection to execution and conversion, ensuring a smooth candidate experience.Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, I ensure alignment with Penguin’s employer brand and recruitment goals. I oversee the screening, shortlisting, feedback and offer processes, and work alongside Learning and Development to support new starters.I also coordinate outreach events like Build a Book and represent Penguin at external recruitment fairs. Partnering with the Employer Brand Manager, I help market our programmes across social media and other platforms. Through data-driven insights, I continually optimise our recruitment efforts to meet both business and diversity goals.
