I am a material scientist with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea. Currently, I work in the R&D department at J&L Tech as an associate research scientist, where I specialize in the following research areas: Carbon materials/Carbon nano-composite Multi-functional materials Developing thin films and multi-functional coatings. Exploring surface engineering techniques/plasma etching. Vacuum deposition techniques Conducting material characterizations and data analysis  Utilizing simulation and modeling, particularly with COMSOL MultiphysicsI am skilled in operating a wide range of equipments including PECVD, PVD, laser cutting, spin coating, SEM, nano-indentation, scratch testing, wear and abrasion testing, tribometer, profilometer, and roughness measurement. With a strong publication record of over 13 first-authored articles in top-tier journals.
