I'm a graduate with a Distinction in a Master of Research studying within the Biomedical and Pharmacology area as well as holding a First in BSc Biochemistry. My MRes gave me the experience of working in a professional research laboratory alongside fellow researchers. My research was based on the application of novel drug inhibitors on avian embryos to study the effects within the embryos vasculature surrounding the developing brain. I also have experience working with mouse embryonic fibroblast cultures and their iPSCs. I used a variation of protein purification techniques to purify histone antibodies to use in a western blot analysis and put to use in qPCR experiments.I am most keen on roles that are based on research, development and science particularly within the biological science profession.
